၁၉၆၄ခုနှစ်တွင် တိရစ္ဆာန်မွေးမြူရေးနှင့် ဆေးကုသရေးတက္ကသိုလ်၊ ရန်ကုန် ဖွင့်လှစ်ချိန်မှ အစပြု၍ ကထိက/ဌာနမှူး ဉီးစီးသည့် Department of Pathology (ရောဂါဗေဒဌာန) နှင့် Department of Microbiology (အဏုဇီဝဗေဒဌာန) ဟူ၍ သင်ကြားရေးဌာန (၂)ခု အဖြစ် စတင်ဖွဲ့စည်းခဲ့ပါသည်။ ၁၉၈၁ ခုနှစ်တွင် ရေဆင်းနယ်မြေသို့ တက္ကသိုလ်ပြောင်းရွှေ့ ဖွင့်လှစ်ခဲ့ချိန်တွင်လည်း သင်ကြားရေးဌာန (၂)ခုအဖြစ် ဆက်လက်တည်ရှိခဲ့ပြီး ၁၉၉၉ခုနှစ်တွင် တက္ကသိုလ်၏အမည်ကို မွေးမြူရေးဆိုင်ရာဆေးတက္ကသိုလ်ဟု ပြောင်းလဲသတ်မှတ်ပြီးသည့် နောက်တွင် ဌာနငယ်(၂)ခုကို ပူးပေါင်း၍ ပါမောက္ခ/ဌာနမှူး ဉီးစီးသည့် Department of Pathology and Microbiology (ရောဂါဗေဒနှင့်အဏုဇီဝဗေဒဌာန) အဖြစ် ပြင်ဆင်ဖွဲ့စည်း ခဲ့ပါသည်။
